My name is Kelly Townsend. When my husband, Mike and I married, we decided we were too old and set in our ways to have children. We both love animals and being avid outdoors people decided our dogs are our “kids”. Mike and I both hunt and fish. I barrel race and work with horses every day. It was natural for us to choose Labs and Aussies for our companions. Our Labs hunt with us from September to January. Our Aussies “ride” with me daily.
Every other evening we have “cow dog party night” and “bird dog party night”. What this means is we alternate which dogs spend the evening with us so they all get lots of love and attention. Some nights its “cowbird dog party night”. That’s when everybody gets out to play! Although most of our dogs reside in the kennel, each one is out to run several times a day. Morning and evening a few help me in the barn. During the day, weather permitting, one or two go swimming in the river. Labs and Aussies both enjoy “riding” horses with me. All enjoy a ride in the hunting truck to feed the deer and turkeys.

In the event your puppy develops a genetic health issue we will replace the puppy. We do not require you to give up your puppy. We understand the investment of love and time you will have in your puppy and do not want to take that from you. In order to receive your replacement pup, you must provide proof of spay or neuter from your veterinarian. In addition, we require a letter from a qualified veterinarian stating the reason the pup should be replaced. Please see our contract for specific details.
